NEVADA MICROENTERPRISE INITIATIVE
Nevada Microenterprise Initiative is a private non-profit community development financial institution founded in 1991. We provide business tools to assist you in overcoming barriers that you may face in starting or expanding your business. Their mission is to enhance the economic self-sufficiency and quality of life of low to moderate-income individuals through entrepreneurial training, technical assistance and access to loans for new and expanding businesses throughout the State of Nevada.
SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The U.S. Small Business Administration provides financial, technical, and management assistance to help business owners and entrepreneurs start, run, and grow their businesses. With a portfolio of business loans, loan guarantees and disaster loans worth more than $45 billion, SBA is the nation’s largest single financial backer of small businesses. Last year, the SBA offered management and technical assistance to more than one million small business owners.
NEVADA SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
The Nevada Small Business Development Center (NSBDC) is a partnership program between the University of Nevada, Reno, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Small Business Administration. The Nevada Small Business Development Center assists small business enterprises throughout the state by helping them plan their growth potential and develop and maintain professional management skills. Each center has full-time professional staff available to provide assistance to individuals interested in starting a small business. The program also utilizes experience from other available resources including faculty members of the University of Nevada System as well as the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and other private sector volunteers.

Their commitment has consistently been to impact the social and political fabric of southern Nevada through economic empowerment. Over a quarter century the Latin Chamber of Commerce has accomplished many goals by playing a constructive and positive role in the Las Vegas Community. The mission is to develop, advance and promote Hispanics and small businesses, and to enhance the economic, political, social, educational and cultural interests of Hispanics in Nevada.
URBAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Urban Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for the creation, growth and general welfare of African American businesses in the Las Vegas community. The Urban Chamber of Commerce actively promotes the expansion of business opportunities on behalf of its members through referrals, partnerships, seminars, technical assistance and marketing. The Urban Chamber of Commerce focuses on economic and business development, education, convention/tourism and special projects.
